Pretty proud.

We've run deep into finals a couple of years in a row and have made actual progress this year despite having a underwhelming H&A season. I still worry about the quality and age profile of our list, but theres no doubt Scott has coached well of late and we timed our run perfectly.

Haha......

Yeah getting beaten easily is amazing and very proud o_O.

Despite the bullshit ^^we are likely to go back rather than forward.

We rely on our handicaps than juniors, and those "stars" like LMac overrated duds so far.

I reckon we can make finals next year sure, but will not win a flag with this group.

Thought this was an opposition troll. But just one of ours.

No reason they can't go into 2016 and improve further. Older players have plenty left and younger players are on the right track. Made plenty of mistakes tonight but did so much right, and it wasn't an easy win at all. I am proud.

Harvey lead the possession count at half time.

He'll play 2016, maintains his current out put and 2017 is not completely beyond him.

Bullshit, teams continue to build each year and so will this team.

Can't see why same people must be negative just for the sake of it.

Carlton had a wasted year.
Collingwood had a wasted year.
* had a wasted year.

We had some terrible losses. We lost our coach. We were continually written off.

But then we began to build, and believe We fought. And fought some more.

And we did not give up.

To be honest, I didn't realistically believe we could win tonight. I kinda took on the WC hype. But we showed up. We battled. We led for more than a half. We didn't win, but it certainly wasn't a boil over. I'm disappointed we didn't get over the line but I certainly am not about to ignore the passion, effort and courage we produced tonight, and throughout the year.

Wasted opportunity? Yes.
Wasted year? Absolutely not.

Perfectly put.

Anyway, I hate the expression "wasted year/season". So much good comes out of playing and working for or supporting a club, it's never a waste. If all I got from 2015 was having my son with me to watch the Freo win, and all my family with me at theMCG to share beating the Tigers, and the rise of Garner, and Boomer's record, that would be more than enough.

Proud of the lads tonight. We had a really good second half of the season and gave it a red hot go in the finals. With a little better "finishing" in the first half and a fairer share of the diabolical umpiring decisions when the game was on the line and we could have saluted.

Give me a spell H2Hs.

We were ok for a while, and then shithouse rest of game. If that makes you satisfied then fine, but for me I (unlike you) support for flags not "tried hard awards" and we have underachieved this year.

Types like you would be proud if we finished last if "all of the guys made an effort".

You will always get the sympathy vote being a pro-North sycophant, but sadly that will get us nowhere fast as a club and we should be wanting higher honours.

Hi guys. Wasn't sure where to put this, I'm sure one of the mods will handball this in the right direction.

You guys made a Prelim from 8th. That's a damn fine effort, one not previously done before. Had you guys have beaten us tonight I'd be firmly in the Blue and White corner next Saturday.

I believe you've got a well balanced side that'll only get better. I expect to see you guys again pushing for a flag soon

Commiserations, enjoy the off season.

There is a difference between being proud and being unsatisfied.

8th to a Prelim is huge, never done before.

Won a final interstate, never done by North before.

So sure it's disappointing to lose, but f*** we came from nowhere to put it all out there in a very hostile environment.

This team now needs to do it week in and week out, we need a top 4 or top 2 finish,do that and we'll play in the big dance.

I am bloody proud of the side.

Now as I posted in the other thread. If you are still in Perth tomorrow and looking around, wear your nm gear.

I will be.

Haha. I didn't say I was satisfied. But proud, yes. And call it sycophantic if you like, but I (apparently unlike you) absolutely do support whether North wins the flag or not. And I doubt your bitterness has any greater impact than my cheeriness as to when and whether the club gets its next flag.

Proud of their effort. Some of our best football in the last few weeks after an indifferent year in some ways. Hard not to point at a couple of stupid losses now though and say they were the difference. Top 4 and we would be in a Grand Final. Nobody is saying it is easy but we just have to play better during the season and for longer.

I was proud first quarter, rest was shithouse.

I know the odds of where we were but WE got ourselves there through a shit season of footy considering our age list. Should have been playing a home prelim ourselves.

It would be great to think what you said, but we have had an decent run with injuries this year (bar Wells) and I think natural decline of our aging stars outweighs our improvement of our young players.

People keep crapping on about our young players in other threads, but fact is we hardly have any worth talking about in terms of adding to 2016 premiership shot. That is a major worry if we think we are a premiership quality team.

Just beat Hawthorn. That'll make me happy enough.

Dal Santo was injured for basically the first time in his career.

Outside of that I can choose to say oh woe is us and the end is nigh. Or I can say flags don't normally come from no where teams normally lose Prelims on their way there.

I choose the latter.
