Yeah he wasn't picked up by anyone. Hopefully we can get him next year. Not sure if he's eligible for the rookie draft??
yeah Rookie would be cool, i thought there was an age requirement though so i dont think he is eligable.

This is the one mistake I think Geelong made in the draft. Should have delisted Gardiner (he's almost certain to go next year anyway) or another fringe player for a late pick and picked up Prismall with a late pick. Now we will have to use a much earlier pick next year (assuming all the talk is correct) if we want to get him.

You obviously haven't seen him play. Averaged over 2 goals a game and kicked four to win the game for the Jets against the Ranges.
He is bottom age and eligible for the draft next year which is the more likely reason why he didn't get picked up.
We may rue not picking him up this year.

Reasons why Prismall didnt get picked up .....
1) AFL scouts didn't think he was good enough - as they are the experts and see more games than you or me, I'd believe their call over a bunch of bigfooty posters.
2) A little incident that was big news about a month ago - thats all im saying, i remember a rumour flaoting around that had no substance whatsoever - but perhaps there was an element of truth to this rumour. I mean if Prismall is that good - it seems strange as to why he was completely overlooked.

it was raised on the main board that clubs may be reluctant to take someone involved due to moral / ethical reasons.

Ouch! I'm not sure if you realise but most Talent scouts trawl through BigFooty looking for idea's on who to draft.
im glad that he wasnt involved in taht DVD incident...i find it hard to believe that a human being could be involved in such an incident
