each time i type sumthin in google or woteva all the things i've typed in previously appear in a menu under where im typing how do i get rid of this?

I find it useful, but anyway i think it depends what you are using. In Firefox you highlight it with the mouse and then press Shift + Del

Might be the same for IE.

i think you do the same in ie, but maybe while not holding down shift, to get rid of all go tools->internet options->content->auto complete and then its pretty self evident

Doesn't that only appear if you use the same letter? Anyway..try going through them all and deleting maybe?
