Never heard that, poor form from Puma. Can't be stuffing around one of the largest sporting organisations in Australia. I was a little annoyed that they jumped onboard with Richmond, mainly because I hate Richmond but I also liked that we were the only club that worked with Puma given all of their polos, on and off field gear over the years have been quality. If they do decide to part ways perhaps Nike would be interested given their sponsorship of NN.
I was surprised to see that ISC made gear for the NN academy.

If we did change I'd love us to be the first Under Armour or Jordan brand. That would be swag. Legit though, no X-Blades, ISC, COAR, *insert shit cheap brand St Kilda have been sponsored by*

I say we sign with Big Baller Brand :smirk:

Hopefully that's no indication that we'll be heading down that path too. ISC like BLK make some of the worst kits. Just see Adelaide and Freos collar and stitch work it's just bits and pieces of material sewn together. I've seen better Bali knock offs.

I'm not sure whether I'd want to lose Puma. They're caps and shirts haven't been great quality recently, and they were responsible for this. However, there jumper template is excellent especially when compared to say Adidas.

There are three spellings of the word there/their/they're.

You went 0-2. Not ideal.

Just that the club were waiting on stock since november last year, and it only arrived in june, with little to no explaination. No communication from Puma, after heaps of attempts, just very unprofessional stuff from a worldwide company.

Not sure if it'll actually amount to anything, but you never know.

I hope Puma don't leave, most the other suppliers suck, except I guess Nike or Adidas, but it'd just be weird for the Eagles to be in anything other than Puma.

If this is the case, I wouldnt mind seeing us go with Under Armour.

Untested, sure, but I think they'd be the right kind of company for the club, they make quality garments and their stuff doesn't look cheap like certain other manufacturers...

I'd be sad to see the back of Puma. Feel like they've redeemed themselves somewhat with the jumpers, and there's always the risk a different manufacturer could march us back to having clipped wings again. Not ideal.

Wouldn't think we'd be in line with a shit tier brand like X-Blades, but then again Collingwood are our equal money wise and they're with ISC. So who knows what our club admin full of Uncle Scrooge's will do.

Puma playing tops are way too tight for a fat shit like myself. Had to wear an adidas crows jumper for training. That was a good fit. On a positive the puma shop at harbourtown/ watertown sells some good cheap eagles gear.

Would be happy to see the end of Puma if we got a respected athletic brand: New Balance, Nike, Adidas or Asics. Preference would be Under Armour. Unlike being Puma's only team for 5 years, no doubt they would be pushing our brand as much as their own which would be great.
