I honestly think Static Age by the Misfits is the best punk album ever

The Clash were the best of the punk era bands.

They were more of a punk rock band though, their two biggest hits were more rock than punk.

The Stranglers were considered a punk band in their early days in the late 70s.




They changed gears in the early 80s with this song which definitely wasn't punk.
