By my interpretation, this week will involve the 8,500th fixture. Based on the published QAFL draw, that milestone game will arguably be Redland V Sherwood. Given that both clubs are past SQAFA participants, I quite like this.

I’m hearing Lappin has pulled the pin at Surfers as well and Broadbeach weighing up their options on Nolan.

Surprises me with Lappin. From the outside SP look to be really well organised and seem to get most out of their group.

I think that is case. They are trying to talk him around into staying from what I heard.

I think that is case. They are trying to talk him around into staying from what I heard.

Yeah haven’t heard anything about this signing until yesterday but have been told his parents have brought property in Tewantin which they are developing.They have had a townhouse in Noosa Heads for years are are regularly up this way!

Ben played Collingwood VFL last year - think he's a pretty good player without being an absolute star.

Job requires a lot of time commitment, hats off to those that do it especially given the money isn’t that much for what the coaches put in.

Done a great job skinny but understandable if he wants to free himself up after a couple years

Ben has played 7 games in the seniors for Keilor this year SM - 2x in best and 2 games for Collingwood VFL side in May. Played senior footy all year from what i can see - not sure where your info is from?

Yep not sure when thats from, his current stats from Essendon FL says 7 senior games and 2 vfl games, last game on on 22 June. Doesn't really matter, be interesting to see how he goes, outside noise suggests footy may not be his main priority atm
