Well done Morningside. Great game in the end. Redlands missed so many gettable chances early and especially late!
A great game of footy lots of pressure enjoyed by a good crowd. The Redland cheer squad who moved behind the goals to the end Redland were kicking in the final quarter inspired the team to nearly pull off victory but Morningside the best team all season deserved the win. Anyone estimate the crowd today.

3000-4000 I'd say. Big breeze going Redlands end in the last too. Wind seemed to get stronger as the day went on, caused a bit of havoc in front of the sticks for both sides

Congrats Panthers! Watched in live stream which was really well done!
Looked like a great set up down there and the first half in particular was of a great free flowing standard! The pressure in last quarter fitting of a GF!
Very enjoyable to watch👍

Was a great crowd ,, 3500 maybe 3800.( largest GF crowd I ve seen in a long time ) which created a geat atmosphere played on a AFL standard ground ... This is a desrrving facility for the QAFL Grand Finals in the future
Well done Panthers ,,, just that little bit better all day ,, no big highlights but just some real good QAFL footy played .
I said a number of weeks ago Panthers McDough ( no 8 ) is a gun ,,, covers so much ground and is a beautiful kick both passing and long kicks,,,that goal he kicked on the run from outside the 50m arc was a pearler.l

Its a fantastic viewing ground Stuyd - feel like you are close to the action but like you said a better surface than your suburban ground. And the facilities are top shelf for all. Thats a bloody good crowd - would have been a stellar atmosphere.
Was there plenty of eating / drinking options?

Yeah agree that’s a terrific crowd attendance! As said prior it looked on the live stream like a great atmosphere!

Smy,
not wrong ,, the big crowd was well spread all around the ground which made for a even better atmosphere and they were right into it .
Build it and they will come is the saying ,, and the supporters sure did,,, proving the location is not a issue.
This just has to be the venue for future QAFL Grand Finals .
There was the general bar at one end and a bar was set up at the other end behind the goals.
But the food facilities were poor ,,only one outlet over near the general bar ... surely they could of had a mobile food van on the other side of the ground as well.
And Parking ,, well theres heaps of parking so it more then catered for the large crowd .
Also, must comment the Umpiring was very good on the day

Unfortunately they ran out of food, drinks and no toilet paper in the ladies

That’s a super premiership. Put hand up now to say I didn’t ever think panthers were best side in comp during year but stepped up when it mattered. Great coaching performance

Understandable given crowd much bigger than regular Lions AFLW fixture (only 2100 on Friday vs Collingwood)
