What structural reasons do they have?as a rival club president, I think its fair enough.
there are structural reasons that make it harder for Noosa than anyone else, so addressing it is a good thing
It was a team of 45 years, they were non existant for 5You know I had no say in that decision... Mind you at least they had a team of the half century - Noosa went in bits and bobs and decided each decade would suffice... No hard calls made in tigerland these days - except if it means asking for assitance.. Might call you the "North Melbourne of the QAFL" lol
2 very prominent Coast footy identities who are good mates, slugging it out here. Great days play yesty, more of the same today pleaseAlways thought the rivalries on the GC were pretty strong, they clearly got us covered up there
And pretty sure were a merged identity with Nth Shore for a few years after that!It was a team of 45 years, they were non existant for 5
No current season stats available
Technically you are correct... lolIt was a team of 45 years, they were non existant for 5
Like I said - no hard decisions in the Noosa camp...And as for the team of the decades we had to do it like that as we only had 47 players in our history that had played over 50 games(very transient and very slim pickings) We did it the other way so players like Jacob Simpson, Kerry Brain and Ben Mathews don’t miss out!
Correct!And pretty sure we’re
And pretty sure were a merged identity with Nth Shore for a few years after that!
But like all or most clubs we have plenty of kids in Lions academy programs and representative teams without having any VFL listed.Obviously not good enough and I’m sure the travelling component comes into it!
AFLQ want two teams from the Sunny Coast in it,infact don’t be surprised if Moreton Bay doesn’t enter in next year or two also! Head office have no limit on how many teams are in the QAFL it’s about clubs meeting certain criteria standards!
You were obviously sitting in that meeting when they rubber stamped it Thommo... Must have been a good sales pitch bc no one seemed to address the elephant in the room that Noosa has had no troubles attracting players for 50 years and being a powerhouse football club both on and off field - until the last few years that is....as a rival club president, I think its fair enough.

What’s the elephant in the room NB?Like I said - no hard decisions in the Noosa camp...

It's not unlike the furore at AFL level when the Weagles were touted as receiving compensation bc they are awful right now. Anyone thought about turning the blow torch inwards at some point?
