Is Aaron Hall playing at PBC again in 2025?
Ahh right, is he hoping to return mid 2025?did his ACL mid season
Goal square and maybe 25m forward of that will be the only area on the field he needs to spend his time. Seems to have improved his goal kicking a fair bit towards the end of his career too. Wish him well!Thinking a few FBs will. He’s a monster of a man. The ? Will be getting it to him but he could move around the park at times too. Great signing imo
And with fellow gun recruits Benson,Scaglarini and local gun Thynne in the middle I reckon he should get plenty of opportunity! If Palmy could talk Hickey into one more year I think they go in red hot favourites!Goal square and maybe 25m forward of that will be the only area on the field he needs to spend his time. Yeah, you wouldn’t want to be turning the ball over in the middle of the ground. Be an even tougher assignment thenAnd with fellow gun recruits Benson,Scaglarini and local gun Thynne in the middle I reckon he should get plenty of opportunity! Merry Christmas Back Pocket, Merry Christmas all. Here’s to a cracking season in 2024Merry Christmas to everyone and your families. Wishing you a safe and fun holidays.
Surely Hall want to be a part of it given they've got guys like Hickey and Casboult running around for Palmy in 2025. Get the tap from Hickey and blast it long to Casboult who takes a contested mark in the square. That's bread and butter sort of stuff for someone like Hall.Ahh right, is he hoping to return mid 2025?

Good question. I just assumed he would play on after winning the Grogan Medal this year, but I can't see anywhere that confirms he will play on in 2025. Maybe signing Casboult is an indication that Hickey isn't coming back?Is Hickey confirmed for 2025?

I think if he plays on he will risk any chance of a payout under the AFL Concussion scheme is what I heard.yeah said in his Grogan medal acceptance speech that he was retiring due to head knocks

Makes sense to do so you would think. Otherwise how could anyone rightfully claim that the AFL were the predominant cause of any CTE they could suffer going fwd? That’s actually interesting, I’m wondering if this idea could mean EX AFL players that have had concussions (large % of them I’d imagine) will opt out of local footy to protect a potential future payout?
I was asking if any of last years draft crop, who went u drafted, are training with us.Dan Annable is the only one training with the senior list to my knowledge.
The suns have Uwland, Addinsall, Patterson, Murray, White, Collins, Hudson and Coulson training with their senior list as a comparison.
Not sure which method is best given the Lions going ok at the minute...!
We know Gillet is off to SA.none of the undrafted players are training with the AFL squad to my knowledge.
Greenaway, Gilder, Pope, McFayden, Macaulay, Gillet, Ellis are all overagers that were invited back to academy. Not sure how many actually taking up the offer though.
I simply cannot understand why any 19 year old would be coming back to play this years 18 year olds. Have a cut off and that’s that. Then as Briztoon states those guys who missed the draft can train/play with the VFL if the AFL club still is keen.you'd have to wonder why kids like Pope and Ellis are invited back at 19 year olds anyway, very strange. Pope is handy, but not like he is any sort of prospect, and in his top age year I'm unsure if Ellis was even picked? He's a long way off it.
The others are all either pretty close to thereabouts, or were injured in their top age year - so they make a little more sense.
