Test your knowledge of the current official AFL club logos (let's go with the logos used by the AFL on their website as the standard) going into 2025 ‐ no peeking!

Which Club logos include the following elements?

NB: The answer to one or more of these questions may be "None"

1. The "geographic" name of the club (suburb, city, etc)

2. The club nickname

3. The year of inception

4. A shield or shield-type shape with a single point at the bottom

5. Two eyes

6. Just the left eye

7. Just the right eye

8. Teeth

9. Feet

10. A monogram (defined as a combination of one or more letters or symbols to create a single symbol) or initial/s of the club name/nickname not in a monogram (with or without FC)

11. Elements other than letters, numbers, punctuation, animals, aeroplanes or shields

12. Only one colour other than white (on a white background)

13. Four or more colours other than white (on a white background)

14. Stripes

15. Word mark totally visually detached from the logo image (with visual space all the way around the word)

16. No complete words at all (abbreviations, numbers and letters are not words)

17. Colours that are not any of that club's official club colours (by which I mean the basic club colours as defined on Wikipedia for example)

18. Serif fonts

19. Two or more "S"s

20. Lower case letters

Sorry for all the specifications, there are a lot of cases where you could argue yes or no for some clubs so I tried to be as precise as possible!

I reckon 9 and 10 are pretty good scores!

It's tough to get most questions right for all 18 clubs, and yes, even your own club's logo has stuff even the club's own fans probably don't always notice.

So many answers depend on interpretation too: do cockpit windows count as eyes? Should the simplified feathers on a bird's neck be considered stripes? Are shadows separate colours? Yes to all three in my opinion, but some might say no.

I ended up writing some painfully detailed questions because I tried to avoid ambiguity, but it's impossible to remove it all...

Well anyway, I hope you all enjoy the challenge and the surprises from checking your answers!

Seeing the new Suns logo sitting next to the Giants logo on the AFL site makes me think the designers were literally that Mr Bean skit

You'd think the AFL website would remove the text as well, considering how tiny the logos are up the top, but I guess not.

But, yeah if it's on the guernseys, then it's the official logo as far as I'm concerned.
