The last couple of weeks have been bloody good. Not outrageous to say I reckon it's the best Aussie comedy-drama since SeaChange (which probably isn't as fondly remembered these days compared to ten years ago).

Absolutely loving it. One of the best shows to be made in this country.

Some of the creative licence taken with the law and legal process bugged me last night (and particularly bugged my girlfriend, who I complained to...)
was that a new ep last night?
hadn't seen it before, though I don't really follow the eps, just watch it when it's on. **** me that rant about 'right wing chicks' was funny.
Good news, production of season 3 started last month, will air next year.
In the meantime we have the US adaptation to look forward to..
.. ok maybe we won't be looking forward to it. Trailer looks alright, not great, will give it a chance and watch the first few episodes. Looks pretty close to an exact copy of the Australian version, just 'Americanised'. The case in the trailer is identical to the case in the pilot of the Aus version.
I think they left the specifics of his defence just vague enough that there's probably a coherent explanation there... somewhere...

Good TV should be held to a higher standard. And let's face it, "probably...maybe" is a higher standard!
