I love this polo from Canterbury so much! They really need to pick up their game with North when they can produce such damn good quality normally.

Apologies if this has been discussed already, but I was having a think earlier about what North Melbourne's jumper change will mean for what opposition clubs have to wear against us. The classic white jumper with blue stripes up against the dark Essendon or Carlton jumper was an iconic match-up, but does the change to a darker blue strip mean the Blues and Bombers have to wear their clash against the Roos during away games?

I thought it'd be interesting to see how it compares for every team when playing away to North.

upload_2017-3-15_21-52-19.png upload_2017-3-15_21-52-46.png This is probably the best option when North plays the Crows, as their home will clash with ours.

upload_2017-3-15_21-53-28.png upload_2017-3-15_21-53-38.png No change, although the added blue on the home jumper does clash with the blue on Brisbane's Fitzroy guernsey.

upload_2017-3-15_21-54-37.png upload_2017-3-15_21-54-45.png This is the most visually appealing match-up. We saw North wear the blue strip against Carlton in the navy jumper with white shorts last year, looked a bit messy from what I can recall.

upload_2017-3-15_21-55-48.png upload_2017-3-15_21-55-55.png Really happy that our jumper change will force Collingwood into their clash strip. One, because it's kind of ironic, and two, because their clash is fantastic.

upload_2017-3-15_21-56-35.png upload_2017-3-15_21-56-44.png I dunno, could Essendon get away with wearing their home strip with white shorts?

TO BE CONTINUED

upload_2017-3-15_22-1-20.png upload_2017-3-15_22-1-43.png Dees in their new red away strip, much better than the Bintang.

upload_2017-3-15_22-1-23.png upload_2017-3-15_22-2-2.png Better contrast than black with white shorts

upload_2017-3-15_22-1-24.png upload_2017-3-15_22-2-45.png Similar to Essendon, but I remember in Round 24, 2011 these two sides wore this match-up and it seemed ok, so maybe it will work with Essendon

Anyone able to identify the font used by the Perth Wildcats in the 80s? Trying to recreate a vector of it but finding it very difficult due to a lack of resources for this logo...

A question for the South Aussie's here. Let's say I was to cut 2 teams from the SAAFL top division, who would the two worst be in there? I'm putting the league into Premiership Coach 2011.
Only know Div 3, soz.

Doesn't warrant its own thread but an interesting post from someone who works at the Lions. These are the jumpers we will wear against each club

Can't get over how ridiculous it is that the AFL think we clash with GWS and would make us wear a gold jumper against an orange team, especially when our maroon jumper doesn't clash at all.

Also can't get over how stupid it is that we supposedly clash with GWS but not Carlton, Melbourne, Essendon and Richmond (four teams that should wear a clash v us at the Gabba)

So much for the Fitzroy guernsey being your club's "Melbourne" guernsey.

The ruling behind this is that the "Melbourne" jumper is to be worn against all AFL states (Vic, SA, and WA); while the clash is to be worn in all non-AFL states (NSW/ACT, Qld). The exceptions with the Western Bulldogs and Adelaide Crows is because the AFL deems that the "Melbourne" jumper clashes with these two home jumpers.

I can see the distinct clash in the Dogs v Lions game

But there is is no good way to split the Crows and Lions, as they share the same base colours. Though I think that the Melbourne jumper would be best suited in this situation, and the new yellow clash would be more of a clash.

That GWS matchup is horrendous... should be in fitzroy jumper...

Should be in our HOME jumper for that one. Both Roys and Bears clash with them yet our home doesn't (yet the AFL deems it does)

They don't play away to GWS this year, but whenever it happens that is going to be an absolute cluster****. Realistically, their maroon home jumper is probably the best jumper the have for that matchup.
