I like it being here, but maybe we could, as a board, introduce some ground rules as to what is posted in here. Maybe not straying too far from footy or graphic design, but not being limited to them.
I think the RCT thread as itself can be a good thing that can contribute to a board, but I think the with the younger demographic of this board some of the people take things the wrong way and then spread it to other parts of the board, diminishing the quality of what this whole thing is about, talking about design and designing itself.

I am fine with the RCT being back so long as what is spoken about in here stays in here, and the topics discussed are sensible, not just inane posts that are only made for the purpose of bumping the thread or upping personal post counts.

I don't mind people talking about what is going on in their lives or in the world in general in here, as sometimes there isn't anywhere else on this board to post that stuff and (I know I think this myself) they may not want to post it on some other board within bigfooty with people who are not the regulars on here and have no idea what the response will be as they don't know them as much as those on here.

And as always, so long as there are no personal attacks.

So, I guess this fits the place to post this.
I've been put onto the committee of my cricket club and we're current;y looking for somewhere to produce merch, baggy caps and playing kits with the potential of playing in full colours for one-day games within the next few years.

Does anyone know where I could find a decent manufacturer on the cheap, as the club isn't exactly the richest going around?

From what I know, someone is already looking at TNF as one, but are open to other options, and no ones been able to find baggy caps in our clubs colours of green and gold in panels.
Albion offers quality custom design caps, but can be very expensive, so we're looking for somewhere that will make them cheaper, no one really wants to be paying an excess of 50 for a cap.
I've had a brief look at BLK and ISC.

conquerfit ?
This is worth it's own thread.

Don't waste it in the rct

I will always suggest TWP as all the dealings I have had with them with the Designathon and on another personal project (which never eventuated) was fantastic as well as their products being of great quality.

In my opinion, if we closed this down, we should close the music one down too. No point in that being on a Graphic Design board and I'm pretty sure we have a Music board don't we? To me, it's a similar argument
but it wasn't closed because it's irrelevant, it was closed because it caused shit posting.
The music thread has no influence on the board, and doesn't cause shit posting.

The music thread is fine and hasn't done anything to toxify the board. Gibbsy has informed me of some pretty damning report stats of pre and post RCT times.

The RCT thread created a shitposting environment that lowered what people felt was acceptable on this board, and the standard dropped.

It's similar to how the SFA creates a culture of shitposting that is spread throughout bigfooty because people struggle to switch it off.

Off topic threads are still more than welcome by board regulars IMO, but not page after page of useless garbage all kept to one thread. Once a discussion has run it's course, the thread dies and doesn't become a cancerous growth on the neck of the board.

Scorch can't handle the banter.

E92_ Miami Heat suck.

It's this sorta shit that we eliminated with the closure of the RCT. No offence, because you're certainly not the only offender. But the board is better without this.
