Feedback on the sidepanels/stitching? I was thinking of removing the panel on the front of the jumper and just keeping the back stitching.
if you're gonna have the 'sash' go over the front side panel then it's best to make it look like the stitching of an old style jumper, without actual 'side panels'.

otherwise cut off the left side of the sash where the panel begins

I think the shoulder is fine as it's not really a panel but just the seam of the front and back, I'll probably just remove the front side panel and keep the back so it just looks like the seam of the front/back.
 
I did my stitching like this

So I could display the connection between the front and back frabric, without having sidepanels (which can be restrictive IMO)


I can't really tell what you're going for here without socks.



If I remove the front panel it will look like the old Sydney template where the seam for the front/back was on the back of the jumper.
