100%. Which is why I originally brought it up. Boomers getting sucked into social media crap because they came to it late, a lot post retirement and haven’t learned how easy it is to get rubbish rumours going.

I would question the ability of people who purchase politically correct coffee to know any better.

There has never been a stupider generation than the 20-30 somethings right now.

I don't really like generational warfare, the idea that boomers or millennials are uniquely dumb (or smart), the thought of some people my age who seem to think that a minimum wage, working class 'boomer' has robbed them of something is just ludicrous.

I'd say both generations have habits and traits that seem pretty damn stupid to the other. Do I have to monitor my dad to make sure he doesn't send $1000 to some scammer? Yep. Does he have to check in with me to make sure I remember how to change a tire? Yep. Guess it's all a matter of perspective.

And for it to be given air by the Libs is a worry because it looks like they’ve seen what the Republicans did under Trump and thought, that’s not a bad, let’s go down that route.
State opposition’s engaging in tabloid gossip is hardly unique or new though.

Court style gossip has helped brought down many a leader.

Cairns news snake.

And its far from the first time youve been shown to be horrendously informed and lacking the skills to critically evaluate sources.

I take the view that group behavioral psychology has significantly advanced since the post-pubescent emergence of the Boomers.

The massive rise in communications and their sophistication has ushered in more pernicious herding tactics, and the iphone is just another type of pokies machine.

I think it comes down to critical thinking and problem solving skills when it comes to mass information online. I would not say one generation is better than the other in that regard, generally speaking of course. Most of us live in our respective bubbles and selectively pick our sources, that's not a unique generational thing. I don't have as much as trouble (it is still very hard when it comes to politics) as I was taught as a historian to critically evaluate a wide range of sources, in favour and contradictory, to develop sound balanced arguments. Very few are taught like that as it is fairly specialised, takes a great deal of time and many aren't willing to be taught like that.

I’ve been sent that stuff for ages.
Got sent this by my uncle months ago. I told him he needs to go back to work.

You should tell your uncle that Wilbur Ross refinanced Trump's massive debt repeatedly thru the 90s as he worked for Rothschilds. This enabled Trump to keep his casinos. When Trump was elected president he appointed Wilbur Ross as secretary of commerce. You can then tell him this enabled the Rothchilds to double their wealth to 1000Trillion dollars by 2021

You can then give your uncle some details and I'll sell him anti COVID vitamins and special gold plated tin foil to keep those other dangerous radio waves from getting into his brains.

How do you not know how to change a tyre? Can you reverse with a trailer?

Good to see you didn’t get caught up in ANOM. How many of your “mates” did?

The older generation is always going to be advanced in such things, purely based upon life experience & wisdom.

The odd thing about contemporary 20-early 30 somethings is that they are the first western generation in some time that has been rightfully labelled pussies by their predecessors, and not vice versa.

Of course, the boomers created this mess themselves, so chickens/roosting etc.

The notion that a generation of people who get depression when they don't win a Brownlow Medal are somehow intellectually superior to their elders, defies all logical explanation. They are a weak demographic.

This is a truly outstanding example of the woke contradiction.

It's meme worthy.

Something that probably held for all of human history, up until about a decade ago.
