Mate it’s a game changer. Two baskets of charcoal back to back in the middle of the bbq. Get her hot dimmies straight out the freezer around the outside of the grill 45 minutes spin the lid of the bbq every 5-10 mins job done. They come out like they’ve been fried except the pastry’s fluffier like they’ve been baked. Another level

That’s the next bit of kit I need to get. I’ve already told the kids I want one for my birthday next month lol
I’ve got the kettle kone, the one that’s basically a pyramid with the top cut off. It’s awesome for wings. Holds 240c+ at grill level with the lid cracked a bit. Kind of makes the heat/airflow inside work like an air fryer.

I like the kettle come idea coz you use less fuel to reach those temps whereas without it I use two baskets of lump back to back to get those temps. Wings dimmies anything really off heat turns out mint.
