He thought about you once you left, so good sign

Yep agreed. Sounds a bit like my last Friday night, I was as nervous as hell because it was our first 'date' (we usually hang out in a group of friends), but otherwise it went pretty well, the conversation wasn't at all one sided. Strangely though she said I was much better than her ex-bf who was more interested in his phone on their dates and barely looked up from his blackberry... I thought it was a bit odd that she would refer to her ex, but it was a couple of years ago and I knew them both then although it was never serious.

How did Stat get carded?

All in the past now, I'm back, and just in time for my favourite time of the off-season. :thumbsu:

What players have we been linked to in my absence? Franklin? Ablett? Pendlebury?

Ok I just had this discussion with my sister - is it really that bad to mention an ex? Maybe not on the first date, but it's not like you're saying something along the lines of 'Oh this chick I'm banging at the moment' surely an off-hand reference to an ex isn't the end of the world? Though I guess I don't have that problem, my current girlfriend has no exs lol.

i think some swans players live across the road from me, not sure who though. Rhyce Shaw was on their balcony all suited up last night when i got home from work at 6.

i think the date went well i think i may have talked to much but he looked like he had fun and guys tell me honestly when a guy texts you after dinner saying "thanks for a lovely night" is that a good or bad sign?

Its a great sign...

In fact it such good sign I am guessing you two are still in contact :)

Diet and gym program start today... Time to try and gain enough weight so I am 60 Kilo's by summer (only at 53 at the moment...)

So - I'm getting the 4S. Its my first phone in about 5 years and since my poor 4 year Touch is getting elderly I thought I'd replace both. At a heavy discount.

Been reading about all the long lines and out-of-stock stories about the 4S so i didn't have much hope of getting one soon. On a whim I thought I'd check at my local Telstra store at 4pm. Voila picked up the last 64gb one

Woooooo I love my toys

I was actually waiting for whatever the new upgrade was going to be. I've been using an iPod for about 6 or 7 years and I've got a crapload of paid apps as well that I'd have to pay for again on the Android.

Mum's getting an S2 though, which is what I would be getting if my iPod wasn't disintegrating. I'd rather just have the one thing for everything, plus I'm on no repayments for 6 months and 20% off each month so its working out to be much better than I expected.

I still feel like scum for doing it but switching to iPhone and telstra was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I feel like such a douche for not even knowing who Tommy Walsh was. Keeping out of trade discussions this year!

Such a douche.

I knew him to the extent that when he signed for the Saints he was one of the most promising young Gaelic footballers going around, and that he was progressing well for the Saints. Didn't know too much about his actual performances.

My girlfriend did find it a bit odd when I got so excited about signing him with 15 minutes to go, and then asked me who this super star was before I told her that.. well... he hasn't actually played a senior game yet.

Old Kenny update. 73 minutes and 0 posts. Outstanding, not quite bordering BEZ's vow of silence. Impressive none the less. And pity some of you slobs didn't follow suit FFS!

Haha yeah, maybe its me not knowing much but the idea of 'promise' seems a bit eh. We did get him for not much in the end and by all accounts the Saints seem pissed to have lost him too, so I'm happy.

I make no apologies for still using 'douche' as part of my vocab rotation xD

Keen to get out to USyd and prowl wait wut.
