Wondering about peoples thoughts in how the the clubs rank in terms of support/profile, i would go 1. Collingwood- i think easily the most consistant highest profile/biggest club 2 Richmond- massive club, close to collingwood in profile, close with essendon, maybe put them higher to not sound too bias 3 Essendon-ditto massive club 4 Carlton- massive club always seen a one of the big 4 5 Hawthorn- another big club, though wouldnt put them with the top 4 6 Geelong- medium size 7 St kilda - medium size, gets good crowds when winning, as seen in 2009-10, or 1997 8 Melbourne-smaller club though i think bigger than bottom 2 9 Western bulldogs-small club 10 North melbourne -smallest club

Swap Essendon and Richmond and if Carlton ever get their shit together they would rival Richmond. Also swap Dogs and Dees

Really depends on the metric

Historically i reckon you'd have gone Pies, Dons, Blues, Tigers in that order with the hawks & cats coming behind then the rest.
Of late, the Tigers have turned juggernaut & the Pies still go strong

fan-base;
Pies
Tigers
Dons
Blues
Hawks
Cats
Dees
Saints/Dogs/Roos

Flags;
Blues
Dons
Pies
Tigers
Hawks
Cats
Dees
Roos
Dogs
Saints

Pies & Dons probably sell papers like no other in the state, esp. when we're doing stupid stuff.
commercially, i'd say the Dons and Pies are top 2 historically.

I suppose in terms of memberships and fanbase size it would be something like this.

1 Collingwood
2 Essendon
3 Richmond
4 Carlton
5 Hawthorn
6 Geelong
7 Western Bulldogs
8 St Kilda
9 Melbourne
10 North Melbourne

Richmond are guna melt over this. :tearsofjoy:
We'll overtake them as well when we hopefully start winning flags again! Although having said that, we're already ahead of Richmond where it really counts.;)
