hey guys just looking for some thoughts, my team i think is quite different to most and the reason is that im not looking to jump out the box straight away but instead make money the first 5-10 weeks then trade up and bring it home strong in the end without getting to left behind. Still think this team is capable of near 2000

Backs: Newman, Hodge, Gilbee, macdonald, Malceski, Ladson, waters
Emer: Maguire, Silvagni

Mids: Murphy, Selwood, Boyd, Vince, Ball, Martin
Emer: Trengrove, Shuey

Rucks: Tippett, Hille

For: o'keefe, Pav, higgins, gray, hall, medurst, gumble
emer: rockliff,hitchcock

If all goes to plan hodge,gilbee,macdonald,mal,ladson,water,vince,ball,martin,tippet, hille,warnock,gumble,hall,medurst and higgins make say a 50-100k average profit incomes another million $$ and say hello to ablett,goddard,dalsanto,riewoldt,enright,swan,goodes ect.

If you've settled, there's not many tips I can give you then.

Don't like not having Goddard, but unless you trade Shaw for Gram or Macdonald, can't see what you can do. Heaps of cheap backmen, but I guess you like it.

Packed mids. Robinson looks funny, but people seem to have him in their sides a lot. Dunno if he's entrenched in the 22, but a cool smokey pick. No real value picks (a fringe player and a rookie aren't the greatest in my mind), and that may be where the real value is at in the mids.

Warnock starting looks hella dodgy. Get Lobbe on the bench. If you have Tippett, Lobbe is a lock.

Chappie's Injuries worry me. To be honest, I'd downgrade him to a Robbie Gray, and try to get a decent F7. Not saying Rockliff is bad, but might not be in best 22 yet.

A lot of mid range players that won't score that well IMO. Blokes like S. Thompson, H Taylor, Bolton, Pears. Roughead too up and down for mine. Need to work on your bench as well, I have never heard of half of those players on your pine

Yeah pretty good team. Think Ball is better suited to DT, but could still average 90 in SC. Had Carrazzo at one stage but took him out. Will be interested to see how he goes, I think he will go alright.

Don't know if this was obvious, but in order to take care of the C/VC loophole, don't select a captain until tomorrow. That way you don't need a 0 on your bench for it to come on as has previously been suggested

Really solid side. I have very similar backs but thankfully could afford Hunt over Ladson. Ladson is a star though and could be a 70-90 player if he gets the body right. I would have loved to afford Ball, he will have a point to prove this year. Infact overall your side is great. Choices like Medhurst, Ziebell could backfire, or be a gold mine!

Your JKT choice is interesting. I'm a hawks man but know nothing about him!

Nice side. I like the idea of the 3 pronged rookie midfield. DOwn the track could work really well with upgrades. But soo risky early. You have effectively 5 midfielders who aren't assured a game?

Buddy, he is a star. But he can really, really burn you. If I remember last year he had two scores in the 20's! That hurts. But the upside he has 150+ potential!!

Some risks, but who hasn't gone for risks?? Not sure Simon Black can avg over 100 this year, slowly declining. Goodes is more of an upgrade target for me. Scott Thompson?? interesting choice, although being a dedicated full back, just think he is a little expensive.

In no particular order, Mackie, Pratt, MacDonald, Gram, Symes even Birchall. I just think like Scarlett, that Scotty D does have alot of responsibility.. Suppose you could do worse.. What about Urqhurt?

Onto the forwards..I can see the likes of Pav, Brown, Didak, Davis etc actually dropping a fair bit so that's why I've opted for only 2 premo forward structure then the upgrade later on.. Hopefully.
