But nah, you're correct. It's flawed, but it just needs to be taken for what it is, which is better than nothing (but by no means a cut-and-dried indicator of individual posting quality across the SFA).
That being said, I'd be open to making it a a 5-4-3-2-1 poll if it assisted in that regard.
- Plan A is obviously encouraging people to get involved every week and chasing up votes when required. I can be annoyingly persistent
- Plan B is putting some of the responsibility on the club captains (hopefully it won't be too much of an ask for them to vote, or encourage voting amongst their team). Tallies of each team's respective voting records will be kept and posted alongside the weekly voting results, so it'll be easy to see who's not pulling their weight.
- Plan C (last resort) is auto votes based off posting volume (i.e. top three posters for that week get votes). Obviously, I hope to never use this as it'd just encourage post spamming, but it's a break glass in case of emergency option.
