Is LDU on a muscle build/gym plan? If so i doubt he'll play another game this year.

Zurhaar in for me. I'd like to see what Williams has to offer as well.

A bit of an idea of how some of the boys who may be in line for a promotion are going in the VFL - (averages) Walker 14.6 @ 60%, Davies-Uniacke 15 @ 70%, Zurhaar 15 @ 62%, Morgan 15.5 @ 79%, Williams 17.7 @ 64%, Hibberd 24.4 @ 63%.

Anyone of these in for forward pocket. Don't try, don't know.

Would like Williams and Walker to be in the mix. We need run.

Just play another tall, Ben needs a chop out badly.

Williams in Billy's line breaking run role. He has the wheels.

He's on the North Melbourne muscle up program.

Aim is to have increased his lean bodyweight by 2kg by 2022.

Most important is playing a tall forward to give Benny a chop out. Wood was providing that option yesterday, as was Waite before that, and without a tall option, Brown will get double and triple-teamed like never before. I think there are 2 options - we pick Larkey and play him at centre half forward as a leading target (was playing this role well in pre-season games) who can drop back to provide an option to Brown OR we throw one of our defenders forward. This could be any of Taz, Durdin, or BMac, with BMAc getting the call up if Taz moves forward.

Then Jacobs comes in (fingers crossed again) for Clarke or Ahern (only if needs a rest, because on form he should stay in). If not Jacobs, then Zurhaar should be in the side.

Morgan for Murphy should be a chance.

And would like to see Walker get his chance, in for Hrovat or Turner, but think this is the least likely change.

If they do not believe Larkey is ready then I'm not against Durdin having another crack forward. He hits up well on the lead and has strong hands. Or we play him back and put Maj forward. Otherwise we follow the Tigers and Pies and go short up forward. Unfortunately we don't possess enough speed and talent in that area though.

Majak can piss off. No more gifted games for this bloke. He's done.

Can we stop with the Larkey IN calls.
He’s not physically ready for AFL.

**** me the last thing we want is for Stephen May or Rory Thompson to come in and break his collarbone when he sits under a high ball.

so was it ok for him to play last season when his form didn't warrant it? weighs 93kg is 20 years old, maybe we should ask Fletcher how to play as a skinny kid.

Hes ready to play a support role ans structurally we need him.

We need another marking threat to take the focus off Brown. Who that is remains unclear? I can't comment on VFL form as I don't get to watch it but something has to happen. Waite is a gun

No, it wasn't.

But apparently rewarding the VFL's leading goalkicker and much improved in-form Larkey just 1-2 games this season is out of line, especially against a VERY intimidating Gold Coast Suns outfit!

Here's a novel idea. Play big Preussy and have him and BennyB start about 20 metres apart and about 10/20 metres out from goal. The rest of the forwards to start just outside the square or at least well clear from those two boys. As soon as a centre clearance occurs they both lead hard up the ground, slightly diagonally away from one another and then whoever has the pill, kicks it to one or the other. Should create a few interesting conundrums for any defence. Not that I would know.

Id rather play him and he does sfa than continue to bomb to brown with 3 on him and blokes who dont kick goals in hrovat and turner at his feet.

The reality is that since Waite out our forward line has been less potent, Wood was doing a good job (not kicking well) but now hes gone as well. We will be impotent unless we can find a secondary source of goals because i can assure you if no one else steps up you can kiss BBB's coleman goodbye.

Larkey needs a crack.

We need to bring in a tall to try and draw a defender from Brown and if they don’t pay Larkey attention, hit him up at every opportunity.

Since Waite has been out, teams have 2,3 and 4 competing against Brown. Wood doesn’t play that tall marking forward role, he is a half forward floater.

We need to find a partner for Brown and that time is now.

Install Preuss. Just have him hang around.

Out: Clarke, Wood, Murphy, Turner/Hrovat
In: Jacobs, McKay, Morgan, Zurhaar

Williams - Taz/Daw - Thompson
Wright - McKay - Morgan
MacMillan - Cunnington - Dumont
Simpkin - Taz/Daw - Atley
Ziebell - Brown - Turner/Hrovat

Goldstein - Jacobs - Higgins

Int: Ahern, Anderson, McDonald, Zurhaaar

We need another tall leading forward who we are prepared to kick to so that the opposition knows they have to cover him. Wood doesn't drag
a defender away from Brown, Waite does, but he isn't our future.
