RDFNL 2025 Season discussion

Just seen Kyneton have signed Haydn Smith for 2025.
If I recall correctly some were saying it was very desperate of them flying down an elite ruckman for 2 games during the year after he single handly pulled them over the line against Romsey.

Looks like it all might have been apart of the plan.

Not sure if they have lost any, but you would thing they would be wrapt to get back two quality locals to kick start there 2025 recruiting campaign

Good Friday and ANZAC day only a week apart next year... I imagine Kyneton will have the bye in round 2. Lanny usually given the round 1 bye for their swap meet.

Definitely exciting. It’s fantastic to see a league that was struggling turn it around since they moved from AFL goldfields. Hats off to the administrators and everyone involved.

Totally agree. It looks like 2025 is going to be a very competitive season. Will be interesting to see how the Giants and Melton South fare in their first season in RDFL.

Would also be great to see Lancefield and Centrals bridge the gap with the more powerful clubs.

Can't wait to see how it all goes next year. It's only November and I'm sure there will be plenty of movement.

Looking at the 8 Sunbury Kanga players they have signed up I reckon they might end up regretting that decision.

Unfortunately they haven’t no choice being new to the league. Why else go there unless your living local or grew up playing for them. They will be bottom 2 I think.

As much as I get along with all the lads who left us for Gissy Giants, unfortunately most of them are fringe players. They weren't making a big impact for us in division 2. RDFNL is much better than that. I still hope they go well of course but I don't think they will get many wins.
