Good info going around that the league have big aspirations to get to 20 teams and have a two tier comp with 10 in each.

Eyenesbury in next year makes 12, then they’d like an influx of 4 or so teams at once to make it 16 and go to two divisions of 8 teams, then build up to a total of 20.

Really brings kangas, rupo back into the frame and even east Sunbury joining.

What they really want is melton, Darley, Sunbury and gisborne back in. Not sure that would happen though. Time will tell

I’m not sure thats what the current clubs want. I would think 12 teams 1 division and that will be it .

You think clubs really have a say in the matter??

If that’s the case,, you don’t think clubs will agree on expansion which could benefit all??

Personally I don’t believe the clubs will want a two division competition. I think what clubs want is a competitive sustainable competition with only one division. .

What a load of sh!te

Only team without 19.5s is Centrals, best it has been for some time.
Centrals appointed a 19s coach over summer, shame they can’t seem to get traction in the 19s.

It’s a big area Melton and their ground is surronded by houses - albeit the demographic continues to sway to members of the community who don’t play footy traditionally.
