I’d imagine most clubs would present some version of this when talking to new recruits. Pumping up their own tyres and saying the premiership window is open. You’d probably struggle to recruit if you said your club was no chance to improve and had no hope of competing against Riddell and Wallan?

Agree Blue Choice, you gotta sell the club, the way I the pitch was relayed to me was a very confident one.
Good luck to Macedon they are certainly in the mix.
Riddell will be very hard to beat but Macedon are in with a chance at this staage.

Exactly right. And Macedon should be setting high standards and the aim should be to win a premiership as they weren’t that far off last year if I’m correct.

Ferguson, Barham, Thorburn, Lynch, Cooke & Rutledge I assume. Yeah could play Gissy 1s but they also gave good kids.

Spot on leo, especially if a key position home grown couldn't get a senior game at Gisborne despite playing CTL, then the Macedon kids who couldn't get a look in down there would be deemed well behind young Leedham in Gisborne's eyes I would assume.

they've actually lost some of their best young talent the last couple of years so theyre having a laff at the cats, got very lucky to go deep in the finals last year by playing a depleted diggers rest side, that doesnt happen too often.

I heard yesterday that the new kyneton wedgies women’s team are self exploding already. Sacked the secretary because she was trying to broker a deal so they could just play footy - the activist in charge of the entire smear campaign sacked her because it wasn’t about football it’s about wearing t shirts to Parliament House about how bad footy clubs are. Don’t forget - Kyneton paid players in the women’s team !!!! My Kyneton source has said they have already locked in a women’s coach for 2026 and lots of players happy to come back. The minority loses again
