But I love Walter
First time I watched BB through I hated Skyler, Jesse and Hank and sympathised with Walter.

Second time through I realised how much of a massive manipulating campaigner Walter was and that Jesse and Hank were brutally f’ed over by him. Skyler was still a bit of a bitch tho.

Hey I reformed. I found Hank to be arrogant and Jesse to play the victim too much. I think I just kinda sympathised with Walter coz he seemed to be doing the best for his family. It took the second watching to realised he's a meth dealing manipulating campaigner bag, and now I love Jesse and Hank.

I'd agree with both of those, but that's part of why I love them. They both change a lot through the course of the series.

Final episode sums it up, where he finally admits to Skyler that he did it for himself in the end because he liked it and was no longer about the family

He was VERY good at it.

Sympathised with Skyler from the beginning. Wanting your husband to stop making meth is a perfectly sane response. Not actively assisting your husband in his drug manufacturing when you don't even realise he's doing it because he's an arrogant lying sociopath is also not worth any hate.

I don't think the show ever lost sight of the fact that Walt was a bad, bad person but a vocal section of the audience did.

Yeah I admit my opinion of her wasn't the best, I think I got too caught up in the whole idea of him trying to do all he could for his family's future, and then she screwed around on him.

In short, here's my poorly considered opinion that I regret in meme form:

Hard to overlook the underwhelming birthday hand shandy from the pilot episode tho.

I'll probably circle back to BCS eventually. Maybe when it's over.

It's a great show to binge - coz it's kinda slow moving so watching it week to week almost feels like you get nothing out of it, but watching it back to back it's so good.
