Most of them aren't good enough in my opinion. Only four of that side that played on Friday can play at that level (Joe, Brendan, Brad and yourself). Keith's fairly borderline, if he stopped trying to hit everything for seven he'd be a good player as he bowls and fields well. The rest are rubbish and shouldn't be playing.

M. Brown, Stevenson and Masten big offenders here.

Is the team down on confidence because players seem to be going backwards in form.

Or is it just that the club has massively over rated the list and this is just an actual, realistic indication of where you guys are at? Because I don't see you guys winning a game away from home this season. I can't see how you guys are going to improve until you get some skilled players... and where are they?

It's just good being able to tell the people of the mob up the road what's wrong with their team. Certainly makes a change.

See, the problem with your mob is that they think they've done something just by reaching the AFL, when that group haven't in fact done anything.

Wasn't referring to our board as such, more an overall perception of our supporter base.

Wet season was a non-event this year - had a good downpour Saturday week ago and it looks like that was it . Weather was pretty good last week and seems to be getting better by the day.

Perhaps an unintended consequence of fecundity rates of a generation of eagles supporters fed on nothing but hungry jacks?


Heading Central Desert past Alice Springs in a few weeks for a bit Keys. Should still be greener than it has or will be in a long time.
