Could someone help me here, every time I select my team on selection day it comes up saying it can't select the team until Thursday before the game? I have even saved a default team but that team doesn't seem to play. Not sure what is going wrong there..

did you figure this out ?? same thing happining to me

Go to options and change settings so it prompts you when to do team selection- by default disabled I believe.

Downloaded it last night and played a season as Freo, we finished 10th and then in the off season I traded Pick 44 for G.Ablett, Taberner for Cotchin and Crozier for Dayne Beams and then the #1 rated draft pick fell to me at pick 8, lol.

Anyway this is a fun little game, just a shame about the whole sub thing still in the game but it's free so who am I to complain. It's nice to have an AFL manager game

Got back into this after seeing this thread.

I've an elite got a Father-Son eligible player but he didn't show up in the bidding. Does anyone know why this would be the case? Was there something I was supposed to do to nominate him?

Probably isn't old enough yet.

He was in the draft, and the #3 prospect (who also happens to be the #3 Tall Defender, and the #2 is also a Father-Son but for Melbourne).

I ended up just trading up to #2 to get him

Strange. Perhaps he was a father-son for two clubs and the game may not handle that well.

I'm playing as Essendon and his surname is Fletcher, so assuming it was Dustin Fletcher's kid, that wouldn't explain it either

Probably a bit late now, but if he was a father-son he would have shown up on this list. under your club management table.

The surname doesn't always translate To being a father/son.

But if he was in your list, then I'm not sure why you didn't get to bid for him. Should be automatically listed.

The player in question is Oliver Fletcher. I've reverted to the back-up to the season before he was drafted to get the screenshot which is why it says he is 16.

Doesn't matter now anyway as I traded up and drafted him instead as I said earlier (and could afford to do it as I'm getting into cap hell anyway). Just wanted to check I wasn't missing something for the future

I'be not had many, but they've always come through on the bid.

At least you picked him up in the end.

I just simmed through the season to check if he'd pop up or not and he didn't. Russell Robertson's kid was the other FS pick I mentioned that should've gone Top 3

I'm playing with the 2017 lists, so I never had him in this game.

Either way, I'm almost certain this Oliver Fletcher is Dustin's in-game kid because the Father-Son Screen lists no son for Dustin after Oliver was drafted

It goes in the "Base" folder in the game directory

i.e C:\Programs\Premiership Coach 2011\Data\Base

Make sure you're moving the whole folder and not trying to overwrite anything. It should be its own directory.

when you go to create a game. If done right, It will show up in the starting list file
