Was doing research and stumbled across Bryant Hocking wiki which says he is alive age 92.

But isnt this his death notice in 2022?
There's a comment on there referring to his playing days at Golden Point, which is his club of origin.
(I'm sent this to SR as well to clarify)

SR has replied saying he agrees this is the death notice for Bryant Hocking. As full name also matches.

Summary: Bryant Hocking death date is December 18th 2022

Ken Newland, as mentioned in the Geelong forum, passed away aged 75. 198 games for Geelong and 18 for the Bulldogs under Bill Goggin in 1976. Ken returned to Geelong for '77-78. With Michael Turner a few weeks ago, now some of the players I first remembered as a young Cats fan from about '76 onwards are now passing away, a reminder of one's mortality.

I've just read on the Brisbane Lions' website that Les Hughson Jr passed away on April 4, aged 85.
Les (DOB: December 1, 1938) played 28 senior games for Fitzroy between 1958 and 1962 and was a nephew of the great Fred Hughson (164 games), who captain-coached the Roys' most recent senior premiership in 1944.
Les's father, Les Hughson Sr, also played for Fitzroy (17 games in 1937), but his career was notable for the Maroons being his fifth VFL club, after earlier stints at Collingwood (1 game), Hawthorn (4), Carlton (12) and St Kilda (41).
Les Sr, Les Abbott, Dale Kickett and technically Adrian Fletcher (if we count the Brisbane Bears/Lions as separate clubs) are the only players to represent five VFL/AFL clubs.
Mick Hughson, younger brother of Les Sr and Fred, played 93 games for Fitzroy, while Denis Hughson (son of Fred) played a solitary game for the Lions in 1965.
The Hughsons are certainly one of the Fitzroy Football Club's most famous families.
R.I.P. Les Hughson Jr.

Oliver G the Brisbane HSun notice has the date wrong. The Lions Hist Soc has the right one, with matching posts from his son Brad - 4 April, not 10 April 2024.
