Well well well, so finger your from Healsville no wonder you've kept it secret your club with the size of the town is the biggest underachieving club in the valley, your probably one of the winners who is married to your cousin who stands in front of the bar yelling abuse all day, ha ha tosser!! By the way Stolly was coming to Junction if the money was right, as I have told you before your dumb arse f$&kwit!
NOW it all makes sense. :thumbsu::D

Heard that farrugia, buckland & tesseiero amongst others didn't play. That's 3 of their best 8 IMO. Not sure how much footy buckland will play heard work may interfere.

Hey tees what was the run down with ur game. How did upwey look. What was their new recruits like. See porter only kicked 1 was he well held or did he injure himself. What about u blokes - happy with the kids?

I heard it was a pretty good game, plenty of pace and pressure I think Upwey probably thought they were lucky to get away with the 4 points.

Looking at the team sheets Upwey had a number of players missing - (why I had tipped Olinda), including Chad Davis, David Van Hoorn, Steve Dawson, Simon Mitchell, Brent Coviello and Tim Hansen. McQuallter played in the ressies.

I think Olinda had a couple out as well - no Tregonning - still in Sydney???

Upwey got out of the blocks in first quarter but Olinda probably outplayed them in 2nd and 3rd to get back with them. Last quarter was anybodies match with lead changing a number of times with alternate goals before Upwey snared a few quick ones to finish a few in front.

I'm guessing that both teams would have been fairly happy - Upwey seemed to break the shackles of it needing to be the Porter / Sheers show and Olinda seemed to have a handy bunch of young guys I'm guessing have come up through the U/18's.

Ports had Josh Wallis (debutant) on him all day. Took some good marks and missed a couple, could've had 3ish. Hinton for Upwey (junior returning from Casey ?) looked sensational to me, everything at 100mph. Upwey very well drilled as per usual !

Not a great start or finish to the match but very good through the middle. Upwey had some good ones missing, we have 2 to come back in off the top of my head.

3 debutantes on Saturday and another 4 with 12 games between them (of those 7 kids, 5 were our spine) tell me thats not exciting ? The youngies were exceptional on the weekend !

What is everyone's thoughts about Valley Vision? I like the concept and with a few minor changes could be good. A few of the games were hard to see who was who but i am sure they will figure that out. One thing i would like to see happen is instead of watching a video of guys just having shots at goals is show a few seconds of the passage of play that got it there in the first place. I am sure there were some good marks or great kicks to get it there.

Couldn't agree more Broken Bone - I said this last year. Great concept but how boring looking at set shots on goal. I would prefer 5 mins of highlights rather than set goal kicking.

You blokes are spot on 75% of it is set shots from within 30 metres of goal!

Whilst i have a whinge the website could use a bit of a cleanup as well, the layout is all over the place.

When does Warby expect Ahmat and Ronnie Burns to take the field. I understand Ahmat has been training and helped on the bench last Saturday.

Thanks for the feedback. We had a meeting on Monday about these very issues and this will be addressed going forward. Watch this space for improved highlights. We also spoke about positioning of the camera to get the best result. The Belgrave game on Saturday was a point in question. Having said all that we have someone that goes through every tape looking for highlights in both Footy and Netball and that is a massive job. Also watch out for our new "Valley Vision Footy Netball Show". It will be well worth watching. Any feedback or ideas much appreciated .

I'll tell you what is terrific, I picked up from our PO Box yesterday, the full Senios match dvd, and 1st half of A Grade netball dvd. Watched most of it last night and its fantastic. Another great innovation from the YV and something I think all clubs will make great use of.

Sounds great GT. Some of the filming is very high quality. Some need some work. (moon v woori). It's still the best concept I have seen in local footy though and if you can improve aspects of it like the highlights then what a winner for the comp. Well done to all concerned.

Makes Emerald flag favorites you'd reckon, if he is fit would in the top 2 or 3 players in 2nd divvy, he's a gun

Was denied fairly quickly.Has'nt been resubmitted.Heard on the grapevine pretty busy with study and may not play at all.Emerald did have a big win on weekend though and will fancy themselves now.Cox kicked ten. He's a star when he's up and about.

So did emerald play really good or did junction play really bad?

Did'nt say he was'nt going to play.Said he may not.
You get a lot of pressure from mates to come and play with them.Rush of blood and that kind of thing.Only he can answer that one.
Fair point. Heard he has been training up there for nearly a month but hadn't decided whether or not to play. Transfer could be an insight to his decision? Who knows.

As for Emerald vs Junction.. If a bloke kicks 10 against you you've got one of two problems, your midfield has been absolutely dominated or you have very poor matchups down back, don't know which happened but it's pretty mind blowing considering he's coming off 1 goal against Seville and 3 against Belgrave.

Spoke to a few blokes in the know at Emerald and they assure me he will be playing in the Emerald Guernsey real soon. They are hellbent on getting into 1st division and will get and do what it takes.Hope it is not a short term plan and they have something for the future.:confused::confused:

That would be another huge pick up for the wooden spooners if true. Interesting that they take out most peoples tips for the GF (Junction and Seville) and can't get it done against Belgrave. Anybody know the
