Just looked into it, I hope it doesn't die.
Someone filled me in on this movie and as a dog owner I don't know if I could watch it. Hey I balled my eyes out in LASSIE movies.

tend to agree; cinematography was very good also.
despite those two positives I thought overall it was mawkish, poorly acted and overly sentimental - hated it.

Ever seen K9 with Jim Belushi?? Blubber city when police dog Jerry Lee is shot and he scoops up dog and goes charging into a people hospital demanding they fix the dog.
When I was a kid I saw Old Yeller - OMG a two box of tissues job that one.
I'm such a sook over animal movies my eyes well up at the opening credits of BORN FREE.
Nah no tears from me watching Marley & Me, maybe as it was about the full life span of a dog. More laughs as I could relate through my woofers to some scenes.

No. I just thought it was very unrealistic how a dog got on to a boat and went to Japan.
Not to mention the stupid 'fight scene' between the cat and the dog too.

pretty bad movie, first bit was ok, slow but then turned into a crappy storyline. Was surprosed to see it was based on a real story and i would guess it was very loosely based on a true story.
Bad acting, bad storyline, the cat v dog bit was cheesy. Great soundtrack though.

Caught this last night...reminded me a lot of another moment called Hachi. Enjoyed the movie, mainly because i've spent some time in the pilbara and loved the scenery.
