Not sure what the point of playing a 39 yr old Shaun Marsh is?
At first class level, he’s been one of the best batters in the competition for the past 15 years.

He had a pretty good season last season, and was a big contributor to us winning the title.

He’s still a better batsman than all of Wyllie, Wasley, Fanning, Philippe and Short, and our aim is too win the Shield again. Therefore we pick the best available batters on batting, not age.

329 in a day isn't undoable but Bancroft plays too slowly. He goes and we block it out for a draw.
I’d love to see Bancroft go really big tomorrow, a double hundred would really keep his name in the ring for the Ashes squad.

Stoinis could be a key. If he can make a 60-89 ball century, and Bancroft doubles up, we only have to cobble together another 100 runs. Should be a good days play.

My tip is a WA victory, wild jubilation, and the sort of confidence boost for the side that will see them become virtually unbeatable for the remainder of the season.

Would love to see WA have a crack at the total. Maybe send Stoinis in next, shut up shop if he gets out.
Hardie can go alright, no need to do anything outside of the box.

Stoinis can come in before Inglis though.
It’s actually giving me the shits that we pick guys like Stoinis, Philippe or Short, basically as batsman, then hide them behind T20 specialist Inglis.
If they can’t bat at 6, then pick Wyllie or Fanning who can.

I'd take a draw everyday of the week from where we are.
I’d take the draw, but I’m not keen on it,

I’m keen on the victory, and the message we are unbeatable under any game day circumstances, with any side we need to cobble together, in any conditions, in any format.

So WA will never bat well again?
I don’t think we will bat that poorly again this year.

Does WA produce great First Class cricketers, who can’t transition into International level players?
Perhaps.

Fact is though we produce some bloody good First Class cricketers, and the Sheffield Shield is a First Class competition.

I’d back our full strength side against any First class side in the world.

Hmm. Surrey's best side would be a good match.

Just booked a table at Char Char Bull in Fremantle to celebrate tomorrow’s come from behind victory.

Wife has laughed, expressed opinions that I’m a dead set ****wit, but happy with dinner arrangements.

The 9 year old thinks this somehow has something to do with the Scorchers.

The 12 year old wants to film and make a YouTube video in regards to this whole epic occasion.

Huge day ahead.

Love the look of that side,

Great cricket commentary, great cricket knowledge.

That’s the stuff I signed up for.
Not the dead beat repetitive whinging that seems more the go around here.

Thank you

You're a dead set ******* if we collapse tomorrow.
Scotch fillet steak at Char Char Bull is top notch. Not cheap, mind you but you might as well splurge if they pull it off.

Yeah, I’m hoping i havn’t put the moz on us.
Just really enjoying the cricket at the moment.

Scorchers game for the ages last week.

Willetton beating Bayswater/Morley in a big comeback, tipsy turvy 2 wicket win yesterday.

Test cricket back on, which I’m sure we will fight back from.

The Shield back on.

It’s all happening for the cricket fans these last couple of weeks.

Loving it.

I'm hearing you 4seasons and I think already bangers has put his name forward for the Ashes squad...he is basically the only opener in the country making consistent runs

Lets hope he continues on tomorrow and we give it a real crack

Harris is making runs as well.
Really great though watching talented cricketers showing off their craft.
I love cricket. Love seeing talent.

Would love it if Cam Bancroft got another go in the test squad, definitely deserves it, Warner out, Bancroft in I reckon.

Think Harris is a better player than Bancroft. Both appear just short of genuine test class, which in my book is an average of 35 for an opening batsman by current standards.
