Got a bit of a knock to the side of the head, then knocked his head again on the turf. Nothing major.

Played pretty well too. Kicked a goal late and won a few hitouts in the ruck. Is a good size, just needs to put some more muscle in his arms and chest.

Carr played pretty well too.

i hope your right malibu. when we drafted this kid i thought he was just a project player, late pick that we get and if he works out bonus but he has surprised me. he roved a ball out of a pack and kicked a goal a few weeks back that made me sit up and take notice. surprisingly this kid who is 200+ and a big lump of a lad seems to be quite handy at ff.

good to hear macca, mods can do as they please with this thread now its been answered. come to think of it i know late in the season he kept kicking bags of goals and has come up to league and im pretty sure has kicked a goal or 2 every game since. 9 sanfl teams wouldnt have too many players ild think (especially 19 yr olds) that havent had a dry spell and gone goal-less once or twice.

Well maybe Redden can be our Leigh Brown good in the ruck and can go forward and kick goals with Lobbe 1st ruck

Anyone wanting to know more about Redden, just wait awhile, because Mathew " I know everthing about Port's recruiting decisions" Rendell, will pop up on cc with some comment about him.

Yeah saw this incident guy kinda came over the top of him seemed to cop a shoulder to the head then his neck stretched out under the guys weight then hit the floor.
Not fun times, he had a couple on the board up to that stage happened in the last few so pretty unfortunate.
Prolly have a head ache and a neck strain, should be fine.

Apparently, Redden has been ruled out of the next game.

What has been happening with Banner - has he been playing in the 2s (are they in the finals) and is he a chance to get a call up for the league team?

Eagles surprisingly named Salter (HFF), but not Broadbent. Redden is out as expected.

Norwood have dropped draft hot property Gorringe.

... hoping he slips to Port or the Crows in the draft ?

Nah, he was almost invisible last week. Bassett has gone with the old toon adage "You'll win nowt wi' bairns" (see also Malthouse and Lyon in the GF).

To paraphrase Bob Dylan, Gorringe's cards will be well marked in advance.
