If you Richmond supporters really want to talk about soft football, check out Reece Conca's stats last week vs. Collingwood. 19 possessions, 2 contested ( ), 68% effective disposals. Even Bryce Gibbs would have a laugh at that.

No surprise that Conca didn't win the hardball though, Richmond do play a very bruise free style of football - less tackles than Melbourne and GWS this season.

So he hit the target 19 times? Geez i wouldn't be complaining that much. Was in Essendon's best for the day and if I heard correctly, was actually in the Anzac Medal votes as well.
You heard wrong. He wasn't.

No score involvements? None?

Just watched the replay - he was involved in score involvements -just not the bloke involved with the last kick or handball...great example, last quarter - got the centre clearance with a thumping kick up forward...that was the start of the scoring chain for a behind...

It's pretty damn hard to not be involved in any score involvements AT ALL. A score involvement simply means you are involved in a chain of possessions that leads to a score. A full back can get a score involvement ffs. If Heppell didn't have any I'll go hee.

Seems Bazzar doesn't know the difference between score involvement and score assist.

Dont be a dik. He had 6 involvements and zero assists.

Mods, please change the thread title to Dyson Heppell >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Dustin Shittruck

It turns out in 2013 Heppell has gone past Grrr Martin, the so called hard nut is trailing Heppell in the following key stat averages.

Contested Possessions 9.8 to 6.7
Tackles 4.2 to 3
Centre Clearances 2.4 to 0.7
Clearances 4 to 2

They currently have the same number of goals, but I am sure Dustin will kick 1 tonight if he doesnt get to tired on that big ground.

Hard Man Heppell is actually out performing every Richmond midfielder except Cotchin.

Lawl!

Jesus, come up with some more excuses why don't you? If he's out on the field, then he's fit to play. Highly negligent behavior if you let a guy with injury concerns play and re-injure himself.

Not sure how a hotspot in his foot would stop him from winning the hard ball, though.

well the hot spot in your head dont stop you posting crap

So he had it when he came out to play? I know you love watching Richmond games but never knew you were in the inner sanctum. Thanks doc. Poor form trolling a blokes game when he was obviously injured, even from you Jobe.

Richmond have to play him because they have no depth. Just have a look at their team sheet for coburg and try not laugh

He was "obviously" injured, was he? Did you know about the hotspot before it was announced?

And once again, how does having a hot spot in your foot stop you from winning contested possessions?

. If you want to troll on a blokes game where straight after he was told he will miss 4-6 weeks that's up to you. Obviously there were some issues during the game to instigate the scan. I'd think every player wouldn't have a foot scan after every game for no reason.

Dog act trolling injured players Jobe.

Its obvious their supporters have the same moral and ethical standards of the club they follow.

How precious are you?

In that case, Hurley can never ever be trolled ever again because every game he plays through a wrist injury that will never heal. If Conca's foot was bothering him that much, and having such a negative effect on his game, then why didn't you sub him? Why didn't you bench him for long stretches? He played more gametime than the healthy Deledio. And I'll ask you once again, how does having a foot hotspot restrict your ability to win contested ball? No other parts of Conca's game seemed to struggle based on this injury, he still picked up his season average number of disposals and led Richmond's tackle count.

Just a pathetic attempt to shift the focus from Conca's soft as a marshmallow game onto me trolling an injury, which you know full well I wasn't doing.

Happily.

According to the stats, he actually turned it over 4 times (from 25 possessions - pretty reasonable efficiency).

He was actually on the bottom of the pack at least 7 times that I saw from standing room at the Punt Road end - throw in a few tackles too.
Excellent
You'll have no trouble then giving me the precise times in the game where he was on the bottom of the pack on at least 7 occasions and when he disposed of the ball by foot and it didn't end up in a turnover.

(Of course you never will and will come up with some lame excuse as to why not)

Won't need to really...I'm sure we can all view the replay online now....

He did it a fair bit.

Now you're playing the injured card because he's a glorified Melksham and accordingly you and your sooking, misguided co-flogs have been pasted on every point and every page of this thread.

You cynical flogs, you're glad he's injured because it provides you a glimmer of hope to save face.

Poor form.

You mean direct turnovers? Because Heppell only had 2 of those, less than Pendlebury.

And it wasn't Heppell's role to be at the bottom of the packs yesterday. He was playing as a link man through the midfield and, when we needed it, he went back into defense to try and stop Collingwood's attack. Even still he got himself 3 clearances, and earned as much contested possession % as Dane Swan. Also laid 4 tackles, more than 21/22 Richmond players last week vs. Collingwood... you know, the game you got thrashed against an injury-plagued opposition.
Refer to my above post

I'm not saying Heppell is a bad player, I'm just saying he is very outside, doesn't get his own ball and doesn't kick to the best option or position.

Anyone with even the slightest knowledge of AFL and who watched the game can see that.

You obviously don't remember Hurleys performances before he was diagnosed with a hot spot last season. If those performances weren't affected by injury, he was awfully out of form. and how many times was he subbed? But hey, selective memory seems to work well for you so keep going with your injury trolling.
