Hello guys - I am at a loose end this afternoon as the Tinder date I flew over to Melbourne to meet didn't show up, so I thought I would head to Docklands and have a look at what's happening in the Tribunal. There's not much else to do here that's free, I sent my Tinder date most of my savings in advance, she said she was going to book us a lovely room at a hotel. Also Chief told me if I do a live blog from the Tribunal he would send me a money order so I could afford to catch the bus back to work.

Anyway the journos are milling about here in the back of the room, no sign of Boomer yet. He'll be facing the tribunal first on charges of roughing up Liam Pickering.

Apparently they have been notified of this as a possible defence.

Just by way of tribunal background, many of you will be aware that misconduct, the charge Boomer is facing this evening, is generally punished with a fine rather than a suspension. However, in cases where the misconduct is deemed to be serious, or the player is from a club that is unlikely to be able to afford the financial sanction, the MRP can refer a misconduct charge straight to the tribunal.
