Conspiracy theory. Our fluro yellow was introduced shortly after the 2 expansion teams (Gws - primarily orange) and Gold Coast (includes yellow).

The Afl made Richmond lighten its darker yellow to protect the branding of the 2 news teams.

lets just move to a colour in between the current and the darkest yellow we've worn which was really close to orange. the colour they photoshop into being the actual colour on the jumper would be perfect. no need to photoshop then
