Freo are on 20 points just like us.Lyon more pressure than a Supercar tyre on him.
This aint no "turn up and win" game.
30 years has done it to all of us.
:D
I don't see why
First year coach, instilling a completely different game style to the one Freo had, I don't think there's not a lot pressure on him. If Freo made the top 8, I reckon the upper management of the club would see that as a bonus

Richmond should win this game comfortably

How long do they give him though? Surely their window will be open for as long as Pavlich and Sandi are still playing good footy, Freo will be looking at giving the flag a shot within the next couple of years.
You need more than one pre-season to radically change a game style

I doubt Lyon would lose his job if Freo don't make the 8 next season (he signed for 4 years I think. That's a big payout) but finals would be definitely on the agenda

Pavlich already looks on the decline (still playing good footy, but not taking games by the scruff)

All Sandi has to do is stand there

It's the likes of Hill, Fyfe and Suban that will be looked to to bring Freo's next (first?) period of success

Huge game for both team's chances of making the 8. Win and you're in touch. Lose and its season over. Who's gonna win it?

Hard to go past Richmond on this one, they'll probably end freos finals chances next round.

Pig's arse it's "season over" for the loser. Why do people insist on making these BIG STATEMENTS with half a season left to play? Do they fail to learn this lessons from previous seasons ? (e.g. Hawthorn in 2010, St Kilda in 2011)

And what's with this bullshit about "season defining" ? This is the sort of crap that journos use to fill space in their crappy little newspaper columns. This weekends game between Richmond and Fremantle is worth four premiership points. It is no more or less important than their 21 other home & away games.

I think the odds reflect well on relative form and also on recent past encounters. Tigers having won 4 of the last 5, seem to have done well in recent years against Freo (even when the Tiges weren't travelling all that well)

Freo have a dismal record at the G

Freo @ 4.60 are worth a go.

I am very nervous about this game especially with Foley being out.

I'm never confident with Richmond... ever

However I was extremely confident that Port would beat Carlton... because Carlton are rubbish!
