2019 Grand Final Replay

Has the RFC dynasty officially come to an end after our last quarter capitulation against Carlton?

With Dion Prestia suffering another hamstring injury & Trent Cotchin struggling, the Tiges midfield looks vulnerable

Can we bounce back against a GWS team missing Toby Greene on Sunday afternoon at the 'G?

The odds suggest this is a 50/50 game but I am tipping the Yellow & Black to win by 89 points ... again

Past 5 games:

Round 22, 2021 - GWS by 39 points

Round 9, 2021 - Richmond by 4 points

Round 8, 2020 - GWS by 12 points

GF 2019 - Richmond by 89 points

RCD has been an understudy for a few years now, must play.
In WebKam, RCD, Stack in forward line, perhaps Cads added too.
Bakes to hbf to sandbag defence.
Kam and Marlion on wings.
Rioli to hff, Stack to forward pocket or hff.

The only Stack you'll see at the MCG this Sunday is a Royal Stacks burger.

With Prestia out and now possibly Dusty and Bolton we have a great opportunity to play some of these kids in some big roles
Throw Ross on ball and get RCD or Dow in
Even if we loose let’s give these young bucks a proper look in

Gonna be a long season I think.

We really need to stop being in denial and start developing our next tilt.

I don't really want to do a Hawthorn and try remain around the 8 or even sneak into the top 4 just to make up the numbers for the next couple of years as we age out our champions.

I'd rather go to the draft so our next serious tilt isn't 37 years away and is more like 5.

Just think about how Aarts keeps getting a game and constantly turns the ball over. Compare that do RCD - a big bodied 1st round draft pick with a high end talent. Just needs more experience to show it. Even still, Dow..another 1st late first round draft pick who shows flashes of S. Edwards. But yet, we stick with Aarts..and castagna types. We also use Baker and Pickett/parker in the midfield. Until this gets fixed we will NOT win games. It's as simple as that.

Dimma wake up! Pickett/Parker and baker(in the middle) types are not worthy of playing against the best in the competition. With Prestia, Lambert, an ageing Cotchin and most likely Dusty out, this is the ONLY time to play RCD/Dow. Make it happen, or we are going backwards by so far it's not funny.

But you're assuming RCD and Dow are good enough. Neither really dominate at VFL level like they should if they are top end talents and both have been bad at stages in the AFL as well. If they are both that good our VFL team would be winning every game by 100 points with them in the center square, yet last week we got obliterated at that level.

They will both get their chance now anyway but there is a possibility RCD just doesn't work hard enough so they don't want to play him. If either were seen as potential top line players other teams would have been queueing up to trade for them at the end of last year knowing we haven't given them opportunity.
