Subscribed? Is that like he herald sun subscription?
Thats right. Adelaide wanted the compo pick they gave to us for Tambling but we ended up only using pick #37 in a 3 way deal.Nah we got elton and have pick 29 to use too.
Going by all the jelly coming our way on the Bay,our work so far has been terrific.
I hope he does good, reality is we just need some mature support for our younger guys but there are always bitter comment when a player chooses to leave a club, you should hear the crap being said about tippet here in adelaide!!Have to laugh at them criticising Chappy's disposal. He was ranked 9th at Port for effective disposals, meaning there were 30+ players with worse disposal stats than Chaplin. LOL!
You forgot Tambling... when traded out
1000% spot on.Have to laugh at them criticising Chappy's disposal. He was ranked 9th at Port for effective disposals, meaning there were 30+ players with worse disposal stats than Chaplin. LOL!
I actually forgot Tambling even played for us..lol

Bling to Adelaide for:
#47 (Helbig) & #26 (Elton) and second round compo (currently #29)
I almost feel guilty.
Ahhh Jordy McMahon, in hindsight, great foresight by him. We hand the Dogs Callan Ward, now at GWS, and he hands Melbourne Picks 1 and 2, one of which, is at GWS. So, everything he was involved in, and criticised for, has worked out in his favour.

Think it was actually #53 (who we took McDonald with), Elton and 2nd Round compo. Haven't looked back or researched it but i'm pretty this was the deal. Wasted the pick 53 on McDonald but as long as we get a very good youngster with pick 29 and Elton (who i have high hopes for) becomes a good player, we still win & will do very well from the trade. Shame about pick 53 though, we stuffed that up.
Just took it off Wikipedia, so they could be wrong.

Correct - and guess who was #57 Alex Johnson who now has a premiership to his name
Height 193cm
Weight 84kg
DOB 02-03-1992
Debut 2011
I was at the 1st training session the guys attended that year , And was with another board member from here Conca,Batchelor,Helbig all looked pretty good and were running laps etc ........... McDonald was miles off the pace and really struggling & I even wrote a training report about it at the time (you should find it in my previous post)Damn. Johnson was/is a great get by the Swans. I had a feeling at the time that we wasted that pick on McDonald; shows we still have some flaws in our recruiting. Always looked overweight, no tank and was really a dissappoiting selection by us.
