Our memories of the past are clouded by the present. Schoefield was a significant cog at Port.

Yeah, he was no star, but his tireless arc-to-arc running was one of those things you didn't notice until it was gone.

Bonner showed he has definitely got something to work with, but he needs at least 5 or 6 games in the snafl to hone his skills, picking him this week would be foolhardy, but it is april. ;)

Prob a bit early for him to come in, however, I wouldn't be upset if he got a gig next week if Jonas is suspended....

If Jonas gets suspended for that bump then that's the biggest load of crap ever. At no point does Jonas collect Laird in the head. Look at the replay on the AFL page. It's clear as day.

Also the commentary team need to be scrutinised for the complete and utter bias nature of it afterwards as well. They should deadset be embarrassed by that.

Missed one target that I saw but it was an ambitious 50m pass between opposition players.

Otherwise yeah both. Just a superb low raking distance kick.
Low raking kick, you mean to a chest? One of our players chests? Looks like we've been practicing kicking too high for the person it's intended for to get to all summer...

What about playing Bonner on a wing and using him like we did Matt White in 2014 on the way out of defence ?
Probably doesn't have the same burst speed, but has a better leg

Probably not but hoping for Bonner to get games sometime this year

His willingness to take the game on and amazing kick potentially makes up for it though, he may not play the same way but i feel he could be used in a similar way and have a greater impact, its a big call but he looks like he has All Australian in his future (already has at U/18)
