Paraguays Table Tennis uniform looked like our polos but without the wordmark and in Paraguay's colours.I thought Australia mightve have unique designs created for them, but after looking at France's basketball uniform Im not so sure :/
It is eucalyptus green, matching our house of reps, so I've been told.I just hate that Australia always have that sort of teal/turquoise kinda colour instead of proper green.

But you are right, the only national team that I think really nails the official national colours is the Socceroos. Bang on, every time.
Brent Harvey is sponsored by Asics but still wears a CCC kit each week.
Steph Curry is sponsored by UA but still pulls on an Adidas kit each game.
I'm sure it's in their contracts that olympics and other similar representative events are off limits. It would be funny to see Delly run out in the Peak Boomers uniform, though.
That's actually quite interesting. On closer inspection though, both kits seem to be exactly the same with just the different brand logo. Look at the way the navy neck band comes to a point at the top back. Surely they wouldn't have been manufactured on the same template by two different brands. There are some exceptions, like most of the Aussie swimmers wear Speedo brand swimwear, though still wear adidas tracksuits. Though I found it strange watching the women's 4x100 that the US team seemed to walk out wearing Arena brand tracksuits, but then had their Nike tracksuits on for the medal presentation, as the US team as a whole are supplied by Nike.
Another weird situation with the US, was that I noticed in the beach volleyball this morning that the two US competitors had different manufacturers for their gear. Number 1 was wearing Asics, while number 2 was wearing Mizuno. I can understand swimmers wearing proper swimwear, but surely beach volleyballers don't need that?
The Olympians are the Australian team. They're all team sports though. Not much choice there.
Most of the nations wear stuff like this. Nike supplies most of brazilian national teams, but not all. Rugby Sevens sticked with their current supplier, the Brazilian-Argentine brand Topper. So clearly USA don't have an exclusivity deal with Nike, because their women's rugby 7s team is wearing BLK uniforms. Maybe the Nike gear is only for medal presentations? And then athletes/teams compete in uniforms from their usual supplier?
I find it interesting that the Socceroos current deal with Nike has been thrown out for the Olympics and they have to wear Adidas kits (which aren't as good).I find it interesting athletes with personal apparel sponsors have to wear Adidas kit.
The Socceroos never play in the olympics, and this year not even the olyroos qualified, only the Matilda's. But yes the FFA agreement with Nike does not relate to Olympic tournaments as the AOC signed an exclusive deal with Adidas.I find it interesting that the Socceroos current deal with Nike has been thrown out for the Olympics and they have to wear Adidas kits (which aren't as good).
Yeah that annoyed me a bit, but I guess the design itself looks good, would still be better if they had something original though. The girls played so well across the entire tournament, they thoroughly deserved the gold. The female Rugby Sevens (Gold Medal, the game ended right now. Congratulations!) wore a jersey in the same style of that basketball one.
