RIP Screaming Jets bass player Paul Woseen.

We rehearsed together in the summer of 83/84, I lived down the road from you after I moved to Newcastle. Saw your early bands at the Mary Ellen & Uptown Circus.

Rest easy, mate.

John Blackman has passed away.

I worked with him 18 years ago. Lovely man and very funny.

Vale.

RIP John Blackman

Agree, Moginie, he was a very funny man. Fond memories of "Dickie Knee" and with Bruce Mansfield on 3AW in the mornings for many years.

What I did not realise to just now is he went to the same Primary and Secondary schools (different years of course) so he couldn't have lived far from me.

Heard the news on the way home from work.

Very sad news. Always hilarious, and it seemed, from a distance, to be a great bloke...I'm pleased to see Moginie confirm this was the case.

Vale John Blackman

Sad news on Sunday night, with the finding of Michael Mosley's body on the Greek island of Symi.

One of my favourite documentarians, with series on the brain, the body, the gut, the histories of medicine, as well as surgery, social psychology...basically, if it was interesting, he did a show on it.

I've watched so much of his stuff for so long...it's sad news

RIP
