A fit and firing Rocca is still a potent weapon. Fingers crossed he stays fit. Makes a big difference to the forward line and how the opposition line up down back. A lot of the grief he’s copped in recent years has had the bad ankle.

Going off your many and varied hypothesis, Rocca will play 25 games and kick 70 goals next year at which time you will change your opinion for the billionth time you will say how you new this would happen.

Id be more worried by his achilles or his weight than the metal PIN in his ankle, but hey you arnt often wrong are you

This looks good for Collingwood. Cloke, Rocca, Didak and Medhurst all in the forward line. Bit of wizardry in the making...

He is a largley underated key to our side. When Rocca is fit and firing, make no mistake about it, Collingwood rarely lose.

I just hope his body can hold together, he can devastate an opposition when in the zone. He's making the right choice to bring his weight down and make his body more streamlined, it makes sense given the nature of his injuries.

I just wonder if he'll still have the confidence to take the big grabs which could put strain on his legs, that's always been one of the great features of his game and it would be a shame to lose it.

Anyway, good luck to Big Anth. He's got the whole pre-season to get his body back in order, on top of the time he had off during the season, so he's been given the best possible chance of coming back fit and firing in 09.

His big pack marking comes from his strong hips and core strength, i do think we have seen the end of the rocca screamers though
