After Nanks performance on Thursday night surely he must be close to be nominated for the rising star this week. Has any other rookie performed as well as him this weekend or in recent weeks One of the few bright lights this year so far 27+ touches the other night and someone who shows real potential to become one of our key players and maybe even in the midfield. He has some tricks and will get even better as his confidence improves

I love his one grab marking especially in the contest. A real player there

Playing forward of the ball in a dysfunctional team does that.
Seems there is a pattern here...

Slow to release the shackles on Soligo. When he gets his go, he instantly becomes our best midfielder.

Nankervis - held back repeatedly over the last 12 months. Gets his turn, starts to show something gets subbed (and held back again), before putting in that performance v Richmond.

Rachele being held back currently and not maximising his potential.

Our coaching staff are slow learners. Slow to recognise the capabilities of the emerging players, slow to react in playing them, and slow to react in realising that the senior players are not immovable objects and there could be kids on the list who could do a better job.

The coach has zero trust in the next generation of players.

Yet another one of Nicks failures, fancy this guy still being eligible for the rising star.

Only 4 games in his first two years - in the middle of a rebuild, we've wasted so many games on the McSpudleys.

Nicks couldn't rebuild a sandcastle.

Not only this, from the comments from his manager, it would seem we have not offered a contract to Ned, but keep wasting games on the guy we don't see being there in 2025.

So, so dumb.
