I thought Tigers looked pretty good last night against Queanbeyan at Maher Oval.
Not sure of the score but I think they would have only gone down by a few goals. Their midfield and backline looked good, forward line may be the query.
Any other results?
I can hear the alarm bells ringing from here over at Leeton. They got flogged by Marrah from all reports...anyone back that up?
Also heard Narrandera beat Rivcoll easy. Pulled their finger out in the second half and looked good?
Mango apparently also went ok against North Albury?

Tigers will fill the quinella with GGGM imo and that result confirms it I guess
Leeton has been decimated by player departures; still sad to see an RFL side getting walloped by a Farrer side

The rivcol lads were very good until running out of gas. Not fit. Very good of them to tack on the extra 5th qtr for our boys to get a good run. I would read very little into the result.

Would read very little into any practice match, I remember a couple of years ago on the Narrandera Sports ground, Leeton comprehensively beat a near full strength Eagles in a practice. Same year Narrandera made the GF and Leeton wooden spooners, figure that one out pre - season pundits.

what ever happend to the Coolamon guys they got from QLD did thay stay home or come back to Coolamon ?????? What was the score in there practice match Vs the Canberra side on the weekend Allso heard that the gully think thay are a shue in this year (very cocky)

Would like to know the same q Tally Ho. Does anyone know if these recruits are still shaping off or have they jetted back home? How is Griffith shaping up this year? Who are some new names to lookout for this year for each club?

Heard today from a source that at least one of the boys has returned home and has been playing for morningside in the foxtel cup. Im sure he was the main recruit, a gun I was told so this is bad news for coolamon. Will be interesting to see how the gullie will go with a bit of heat on them. Have had it easy for a couple of years. Is anyone else sick of seeing articles on the gullie in the DA? How about we see some news from the griffiths, leetons, Narrandera's and get as much press as we can. Its gonna be a great season. Lets pump it up!!

Thanks for the update givengo11 not good for the coolamon boys It will be very interesting to see how the gullie go how meny times in the last 3 years have they been tested for 4 quartes from a fitt well drilled side and backed it up again the next week .(not many if any ).There apears to be no easy weeks this year in the RFL all teams are stonger than last year .There has been a lot of players that have left Griffith looking on sporting pules could be in trouble.Any reports from Leeton any more at training ? Have not heard much about Narrandera since they anoinced there signings.Head ?

We're happy with our recruiting and how things are going along. I said earlier, we were happy last year but at one stage had 12 first grade players on the side lines. Gonna be a tough comp and the winner will be satisfied that no one can talk down the league as this year will be the strongest comp since 99.

Get serious jacky boy.That last comment is just preposterous.RFL is a not much more than a joke at the moment.
