Word is Mcdonald is going to retire. But wouldnt surprise me to see him running around again next year.
He's mad if he isn't. I'd still rate him as the best midfielder if not player in the area.

what!! you are joking arnt you?[/quo
I agree with benny he'd be my first pick around here. do you not rate him nsw4life?
Good player, wonder how close he is with jackson, might be persuaded into going to hawks with him. I think he did play there as a young fella, hawks could do much worse than throwing a bit of coin at him. Whats 1 more ranga.
yeah ya right macdonald was dragged out of the squash courts to play at the Hawks age 18,19 and at that stage only played about a dozen game of footy the the hawks Juniors. so the bloke is a talent.

Fixter signs with Coolamon
BRETT KOHLHAGEN
4/11/2009
ALBURY has lost its sixth player from last year’s all-conquering premiership team with tough midfielder Ben Fixter signing with Coolamon.
Fixter, who is living in the Riverina township after finishing employment on the Border last month, follows the departure of Jay Koehler, Luke Heyme, Jayden Kotzur, Trent Castles and Ed Clark.
He will be coached by former Corowa-Rutherglen player Scott Easdown.
Easdown put pen to paper with Coolamon at the weekend after opting for the Hoppers over fellow Riverina league club Mangoplah-Cookardinia United.
North Albury’s Chris Willis has been appointed assistant coach of MCUE.
Easdown, who played the final five matches of last season with Thurgoona after returning to the region from Dubai, has family ties at Coolamon and takes over from Sam Keenan who recently signed with Yarrawonga.
Meanwhile, Wangaratta Rovers have landed their first recruit of the off-season with former Hawk Justin Hoggan returning to the club after a stint with Ormond.
Hoggan has spent the past two seasons in the Victorian Amateur Football Association’s B section after a year at Northcote Park.
He is expected to play key position with Rovers struggling for height down the spine.
The Hawks have lost Anthony McGuire who looks set to play for Ovens and King club Milawa next season.
does anybody know much about a guy called jeremy rowe? used to play at marrar...
jerm is a great bloke and can play footy, has done a bit of coaching and has the respect of his players. Fit bloke and has been in adelaide for the last couple of years. worth the pick up if as a coach or player. Have him in my starting line up in any team in the riverina.
so i can assume your from canberra cause thats where he is heading.
talk is possibly to coach tuggeranong...
should be interesting
Haha. So he finally doesn't win a league medal (think he's won one in each league he's played in and 2nd last year) and you think he should go back to the Farrer "wif Jackson". Good one mate. You've obviously never played against the bloke, he's a freak!
can and will do a good job, worth the pick up in every dollar
Coolamon already looking the goods for next year then with Eastdown, Fixter, maddox, chamberlain, hard, Archibald etc running around in there midfield they are going to take some stopping. If they could get tubba back and keep Jb i dont see anyone even getting close.

I'll agree with you as well Head.
Hawks boys, will this get Joel Grieve back to playing good football? He's got the talent. He could dominate the Farrer League if fit.
whats the word out of wagga ?
has maiden got the sack ?
and who does everyone think will have the biggest impact at their new clubs
with the new signings ?
Maiden told by club that they want a playing coach, i suppose you'd call it the sack... quite a few unhappy with the decision. Rumoured to be why Jackson has left apparently Macca not staying too.
New committee for Tigers, Scott Ohem to be president again and behind the push to appoint a playing coach.
wont matter if Humphrey B Bear is coach, they'll still be hard to beat!Maiden told by club that they want a playing coach, i suppose you'd call it the sack... quite a few unhappy with the decision. Rumoured to be why Jackson has left apparently Macca not staying too.

i heard that tigers suck each other off in the showers after games thats why they are always a hard team to beat any truth to this at all?
