Nervous as **** about this game.
Same here. i stayed up the entire night and morning so I'd be forced to sleep through this game; and wake up after the result was in. Now i'm even more agitated having had no sleep. I hate this game.

Do we read this as both McGovern AND Curnow are out?

If you are going to play games with selection that's the way to do it... Have them planning for a long-bombing, high marking extravanganza, then actually line up small and fast...

I can only assume Kennedy is playing. Given the NBs play today, there's no other possible explanation given he has been low on match fitness, and it would make total sense if Fisher has been practising forward, etc.

I’m hoping Kennedy comes in. Not sure I like Polson and Willo in the same team particularly if the Ed Curnow forward experiment continues.

Yep MK should play he needs the games into him now, missed too much footy already this year

Small point of consideration for me pertains to the use of Garlett. Our forward line is crying out for speed and creativity. We tried him in the backline but it didn’t work. I don’t mind that. He lacked the composure. He’s so much fitter and seemingly harder at the ball this year. He gets shots on goal. His career to date is he averages a shot a game at this stage. I’d back him to lift that to two. I’d really like to see him return to the forward line and try and use his pace for pressure and create some goals.

It makes too much sense that Bolts can’t see it.

Interesting situation as we prepare for today's game. The Blues now the only team without a win this season and teams not expected to do well are surprising with a level of skill and belief not expected. Bolts continues to spin his "sports corporate "rhetoric" and while we have a stronger team this year with the additions of Walsh, McGovern, Setterfield, et al.......we're still not showing real belief or the the willingness to play out four consistent quarters. We have been known for the honorable losses for a while now and yes the Lions have had longer in their rebuild......but IMO there still seems to be an issue with both the Blues' mindset and game plan (when "the going gets tough").
