He was too disorganised to be a co-host. He derailed the show so much, though I think his style could sometimes be funny paired with Gerard who is the straight man! But it did start to become unwatchable at times. I hope they get Kane Kornes who is the absolute GOAT of AFL media on the show.

He was also pretty lacklustre on any sort of in depth analysis. He was OK with the emotive supporters style perspective - which I guess is the odd couple paired against Gerard - but too often he lapsed into the drunk uncle style stream of conciousness for me to be comfortable watching much of the show.

Devoid of personality, always a whining, complaining Debbie Downer, has nothing of value or interest to add yet simultaneously has a smug sense of self-satisfaction every time his gaping maw is transmitted across the globe.

One of my favourite robbo memories. Malthouse is coaching Carlton and their playing shithouse. Robbos banging on about “play the kids, play the kids”. Wrists and oversized shirt flailing everywhere. As soon as his rant finished the screen cuts to a Malthouse presser where he goes “Anyone who says play the kids has no idea about the game of football!!!!”
