Im considering changing the design for my 07 & 09 Premierships tattoo.

Big Angry Cat holding 2 premiership cups...with a GFC (old Logo) on the back.

Thinking of changing it from GFC...to 33 in honor of Max Rooke.

Im a bit dubious though cos i feel it takes away from the team...but he was my fav player.

Sad news. Congrats on a great career cut short Max. One of my favourite opposition players, hard as nails, great to watch, would have thought many non-Cats fans would rate him the same way.

Shed a tear when he retired. He was and probably still is my favorite player.

I won't ramble on but the biggest highlight was the 2009 GF. Especially that last quarter. He was a man willing to do anything...ANYTHING for his team to win a premiership. Might have had only 4-5 pocessions in that quarter but he was involved in every forward line play.
And who can forget the tackle on Raph Clarke...That image is my phone background.

ive just arrived back from a week o/s to hear max is gone and c.scott is the new coach....man a week is a LONG time in football!

anyways as for rooke, not the most talented or skillful player ive ever seen, but the bloke you'd most want to have out there next to you.

During October I hadn't really thought about footy at all. I completely forgot that Rooke had retired. Then a couple of weeks ago someone mentioned his name and it hit me that he had actually retired, made me a very sad panda.
