North Melbourne has today welcomed Anytime Fitness as its shorts sponsor for 2016.
Anytime Fitness has a network of 431 clubs in Australia and 2,726 clubs across the world, all accessible via one membership, providing its members with the opportunity to exercise at any time anywhere 24/7.
As part of the deal, Anytime Fitness branding will feature on the Roos’ playing and training shorts from Round 1 onwards.
Adam Weeks, Anytime Fitness Victorian Marketing Manager, said joining forces with North Melbourne was a perfect fit.
“We see North Melbourne as the ideal partner, and look forward to working with the club and its members and fans to ensure everyone gets the opportunity to live a healthy lifestyle and work on their fitness at our clubs,” Mr Weeks said.
“Elite athletes are focused on being the fittest they can be when they take the field, and we share that philosophy with all our members, who work hard every day to be the best they can be.”
North Melbourne Managing Director & CEO Carl Dilena welcomed the partnership and Anytime Fitness’ support.
“We certainly like to align ourselves with like-minded partners and Anytime Fitness fits that mould,” Mr Dilena said.
“Fitness is something that drives the club and our players every day. We look forward to working with the team at Anytime Fitness throughout 2016 and beyond.”
Cheers for that.

Why? I'm surprised there's not more gym sponsors with the amount that are around. The target audience works for them too.Really weird having a gym as sponsor tbh.

Think of it as a company that promotes fitness and being fit paying to put their brand on the shorts of a bunch of guys who are very fit and get national TV coverage. As opposed to "we support these blokes even though they don't use our gyms".Really weird having a gym as sponsor tbh.
They look more like wrist bands.Tape.
Excuse my ignorance, but why would he need tape on his socks? Some sort of ankle guards under them perhaps? Or elastic gone mebbe?Tape.
