Swans posting white vibes plus ‘V’ on socials but odd if they were to wear that since it’s only supposed to be for VIC games
They'll probably wear the Red V for the Queensland games to make up for playing Geelong and Norths in Victoria in their home guernsey due to the V clashing with their respective home kits

White shorts should work. Is fine when all the big Vic clubs play each other, as evidenced by tonight.
No way, we'd have a situation like in the St George vs Canterbury reserves game the other day with both teams in whites with a spec of colour here and there

Death, taxes and a big ol' jumper clash to start the season. It's honestly embarrassing. When will they learn? Do it in one match - sure you'll get the outcry from traditionalists, but the more it's normalised between so-called 'Big 4' clubs, the more people will simply see it as a part of the game.

P.S. the Telstra logos on the 50 are ugly af

That's the joke. And also the irony. Two teams in white tops with one in dark shorts is no different to two teams in dark tops with one in white shorts. Why is one so much more ridiculed (in mainstream circles) than the other?

The most annoying part about this Carlton v Richmond matchup today is Richmond have the lighter jumper by a decent margin (obvs still a dark jumper though) but because they’re at home and Carlton are in the white shorts it’s just an eyesore. It wouldn’t be ideal but it’d at least be bearable if Richmond had white shorts and Carlton in blue but like this it’s genuinely awful.

I swear Carlton always get bullied into wacky white shorts by apparel sponsors. 2007, 2015, 2022

Be interesting to see if the other puma teams have the same outcome

When was the last time we say the red swans v with white shorts, more of it please.

The new Telstra logo on the 50 gives me 2005,06 grand final vibes
It really threw me seeing the old Telstra colour palette, but it was nice thinking back to a earlier time where we were only worried about there being too many rabbits in China.

It's a nod to everyone who still has 'bigpond' in their email address.
